Day 5 of my 365 day challenge

Day 5 is here with the theme of WEATHER! Perfect theme considering how up and down our weather has been not only this year but also last year. I am so ready for summer to be over and fall to arrive....hopefully it really does arrive this year instead of a week of fall and then right into winter like it did last year. :-( Anyhow, it was a decent yet warm day here in Iowa so I took various pics but found that this was my fave one so it was elected to be my Day 5 pic. It is such a reminder of the amazing beauty God has created and given to us.

Day 4

Sorry I missed putting this up last night. So this is my Day 4 post just made on Day 5...Day 5 to come later. Day 4's theme was joy...so I thought of what brings me joy, who brings me joy and such. That list would go on a while because alot of people, places and things give me joy. So, I went about this one a different way. I went about it in the manner of who brings, makes, and gives me the true joy that I have in my life and there was only one answer that stood out to me...while many people, places and things bring me joy there is only one person that can give me true joy and that is my Lord, God and Savior. So my day 4 pic is a pic of the santuary of our church. The people in the pic are our Wednesday night group. Awesome set of people! I tried to get a good pic but for some reason with flash was darker than without flash so it is a dark pic but not as dark as the ones with the flash on.

Day 3

So, here we are at day number 3 of my 365 days of pics. Today's theme is colors...ironically I was taking pics of the colors of paints that I have and how much there is left for the rooms upstairs. So, that is going to be my colors theme pic for day 3.They aren't fully mixed up so it isn't their true colors but I love the look they have when they aren't fully mixed. It is a neat look to me.

Day 2-The Highlight Of My Day

So, today's theme was favorite foods but I have a lot of faves in that category too so I went with the highlight of my day for today. Nothing too special since it was a lazy feeling crummy kind of day. Hubby stayed home from work but still went to his appointment for physical therapy so I decided to get camera happy on him while they shocked him. Doesn't he look so extremely thrilled?!

Day 1-Today's Theme Was My Favorite People In The World!

So, as my title says...today's picture theme is my favorite people in the world. So, I had to take more than just the one pic since I have more than one favorite person and many of them are not here in Iowa or not able to all be in one pic so there are going to be a few pics on today's pic day.

For my first pic of my fave people in the world I had to put my amazing hubby because he is my all time favorite person in the world. We have been together for 3 years and got married April 10th of this year. He is everything to me. He makes my world go round so he had to be first. I owe him so much. He has been my rock, my provider and the completion of my heart and soul.

The three above bundles of joy are the PFA to which I am mommy to. Allie is the 1st pic, Pharoah is the 2nd pic and Freya is the 3rd pic. They are my babies and they are very much my kids. Since right now we don't have any children. They are spoiled as spoiled can be and they know it. Allie is a long haired Maine Coon....Pharoah is a Black Siamese but he is our little Panther cat cause he is HUGE! Last but not least Freya is a Siamese with the attitude to prove it.They may not technically be people but they are my fave non-people people.
These are a few of my fave far away people. Maggie and Linda are those two gorgeous and adorable little girls and they are our nieces. They are the sweetest most amazing little people and they just make me want to have a few just like them. They are such a blessing from God and I adore them both very much. The pic on the lower left are Maggie and Linda's parents, Erica and Chris. They are great people and I could not have asked for a better set of in-laws than them. We have had our hard times but we have come through them standing and closer than ever. The pic on the lower right is my hubby's awesome cousin, Ron. He and I are so much alike it is scary but I still love him tons! He is a great person and very much his own person. He is accepting and kind and an all around wonderful person to know.

So, there you have it. My fave people (uh hummm and non-people) in my world. I am sure there are more but those are the biggest and best of the best of my faves. So until tomorrow...have a great night and God bless you in everything you do!

365 Days Challenge

So, I was wandering about on one of my favorite messege boards and came across a post for a 365 day challenge...in which I thought sounded interesting being that I lead a terribly boring life right now. So, I read about it and decided that I was going to take part in it. The challenge is this...365 days in a year, so take a picture for everyday of that 365 days. By doing this you get to see how you have changed, how your tastes have changed, what is important to you, what your life has been or was over that 365 days. I am always in need of some kind of encouragement or a reminder of who I am, who I want to be and what are the important things that I tend to take for granted in life. If you haven't joined this challenge I urge you to join in on it and see what comes out of it for you. We can all exchange stories at the end of it all. God Bless!
